UPCOMING ALDA BOSTON EVENTS

Steven Florio, the new Commissioner of the Mass Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH), will be speaking to ALDA Boston members at the Lexington library on Saturday, October 26. Although October is a long way away, please mark your calendar now.

Purchase your tickets for Open Captioned and ASL Interpreted performances via phone at 617-547-8300, in person at our Ticket Services Office, or by email at access@amrep.org and let the customer service representative know which performances you are interested in. Ticket Services hours are Tuesday – Sunday, noon – 5PM or until 1/2 hour prior to curtain.

New Repertory Theatre, Watertown

New Rep has been selected for the Theatre Development Fund’s Open Captioning grant. Six performances with open captioning will be available for the coming season. All performances will be on Saturdays at 3pm.

           Nixon’s Nixon – September 28th
           Trayf – October 26th
           Oliver! – December 14th
           Hair – February 8th
           Lady Day at the Emerson Bar & Grill – April 11th
           August Wilson’s Fences – May 9th

25 seats will be reserved in the front of the side section with the best view of the open caption system for those who are part of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing community.  When you make a reservation, just make sure to mention that you’d like to take advantage of that service, and the box office will make sure to give you priority for those seats.”

Remember that all performances in the Mainstage theater are looped and there is a discount for HLAA and ALDA members.
